One of the key decisions veterans struggle with is whether to go beyond the PRC course and do an MBA, in full time, part time or weekend modes. While the latter are recommended to be started in advance, to complete by or immediately after the exit date, a full time MBA is a different level of complexity in decision making. It involves major financial investment, being in a fully immersive academic environment and fully supporting yourself and the family for the duration of the course. This would be followed by a job hunt as part of a big MBA class, and aiming to differentiate yourself to get selected.
If you are considering a full time MBA outside India, that is an additional complexity, of not just higher finances, but ambiguity of geography, culture and employment opportunities. However, all said and done, the pay-offs, aka RoI, post such an education can be tremendous, and life changing.
The comfort in having a perfect predecessor who has walked the path and is willing to invest time and effort to help you see the full picture, to then make the right decision, is immeasurable. Who we have onboard are experts who have done exactly that, including immigrating to foreign lands with and without MBAs, and succeeded, and are ideally placed to advise you on all aspects of that decision making
If this is one of the options you are thinking about, then we highly recommend that you book a 30-minute discussion with one of our expert veterans in the geography or domain specialisation you are contemplating, before you make that decision. Do read through the profiles we have and pick who would be the right person for you to consult.
It may well be the most fruitful 30 minutes you spend on a life changing decision
