The bigger the employer brand, the larger the pool of applicants.

Whether sorting is automated or manual, only a few make it to a detailed reading.

Creating a hook and showing relevance in the first few seconds is what matters.

Keep it simple, quantify impact and translate your skills for the role. Customise the resume for what the role needs; one size does not fit all.

Make sure to have enough white space and use bold script frugally, to flag results. “Why you for this role” standing out differentiates the ‘winner’ from ‘contestants’. Set aside jargon, skip the role descriptions and bring out the impact you made, being there.
